UKFI manages the Governments investments in The Royal Bank of Scotland and Lloyds Banking Group. 

UK FINANCIAL INVESTMENTS LIMITED (UKFI) ANNUAL REPORT AND ACCOUNTS 2013/14 set out details of the holdings as at 31 March 2014.

As at 31 March 2014 the Government held a total of 9.1 billion shares in RBS, including 5.1 billion non-voting B shares. This is equivalent to 64 percent of voting share capital and 80 percent of total share capital. The Government currently holds a total of 17.8 billion ordinary shares in Lloyds. This is equivalent to 25 percent of total share capital.

UKAR sells mortgage portfolio for £2.7bn
